ABOUT RONNIE

My Credentials
As a Certified Public Accountant, I understand all the concernsRonnie Pitinphoto and obstacles of a small business since I am one myself. My family and I have lived in the Apopka area since 1994 and look forward to our continued success in the community. As a Virtual Office, I will travel to your location.

From The Beginning
I attended Providence College in Rhode Island when my Uncle, Rick Pitino was the Head Coach of the Basketball Team. It was very exciting participating as the Official Scorer for the team and rooting for my college and uncle through the Final Four NCAA tournament. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

After College
I started working for Shearson Lehman Hutton in New York City.

After a few years, my wife and I decided we wanted to move to Florida to enjoy what the Sunshine State has to offer and allow us to grow and achieve our business and family dreams. I became self-employed as a Financial Planner. I continued in this area working for Smith Barney as a Tax and Financial Consultant in Ormond Beach for a total of 4 years.

In 1994, I moved into the Orlando Area working for Charles Schwab Brokerage as a Team Supervisor.

While working as a Senior Accountant with the Bank of New York in Lake Mary, I passed the CPA test after completing the educational requirements with a 3.8 average from the University of Phoenix. I am licensed with the State of Florida as a Certified Public Accountant and have been since February 2004.

MY BACKGROUND

Bank of New York Senior Accountant
Process a detailed trial balance, schedule of investments including realized and unrealized earnings, and price variance reports for the bank's customers. Prepare cash availability and cash reconciliation reports using extensive Excel files. Prepare month end reports to comply with accounting and auditing requirements.

Charles Schwab Team Supervisor
While with Schwab, I successfully became licensed with the NYSE as a Branch Office Manager and the NASD as a General Securities Sales Supervisor. While in Schwab's Active Trader Division, I initiated a pilot program to provide financial analysis for our top customer base by providing them with stock screening tools, institutional research, and technical analysis.

I audited daily the broker trades, cash journals and stock journals to comply with regulatory authorities. I worked with the Compliance Registered Option Principal to analyze the customer's suitability to assign the proper level of option exposure and trading level. I provided financial analysis using stock screening tools, financial ratios, technical analysis, analyst reports and recommendations, and earnings expectations. I ensured compliance with audit and regulatory authorities.

Smith Barney Financial Consultant
I worked with clients to identify their investment goals. Advice included budgeting for college costs, saving and retirement goals. I also hosted monthly seminars teaching clients of the importance of proper financial, tax and estate planning. I helped educate and assisted in establishing trading policies and asset allocation strategies.

Shearson Lehman Hutton Management Associate Program
I analyzed and organized office operations and procedures. I prepared and audited activities reports for guidance of management. I reviewed clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness. I quickly advanced to a position with the Management Associate Program. Only 8 out of the top 400 employees were selected for this position. The program encompassed in-depth corporate financial analysis and management training.
